The satellite rotates around the Earth, relaying data to GCS.
GCS picks up the signal from the antenna and stores it. It also stores the transmitting data before the satellite comes into range.
When a satellite is nearby, the antenna detects and captures a dedicated UHF downlink signal and transmits signals in the uplink.
